With last years Celebration being disappointing and there not being one next year. Star Wars Celebration 2017 in Orlando should look to be the party everyone is looking for when it comes to all thing Star Wars. So what is that we should expect to see?
Video Games
Star Wars Battlefront 2
The last major video game release within the Star Wars universe (Star Wars Battlefront) was received with mixed emotions when it hit store shelves in November of 2015. However with the sequel due to release this year, EA has assured us that they have fixed all the issues that were had with their first installment.
Untitled Visceral Games Game
Not much is known about this game besides the fact that it is a large adventure game. Rumor has it that there is a trailer ready to be shown at Celebration. However, there is no news, as of yet, when the expected release could be.
Finally, though this is a long shot, we could potentially see or at least hear details about the Untitled Respawn Entertainment Game. However, it is unlikely but it's nice to hold out hope.
Rebels Season 4
Season 3 of Rebels will have ended just a few weeks prior to Celebration so fans will be quite happy to hear that we will most likely get our first look at Season 4 during the festivities. It's also believed by many within the industry that season 4 could be the Final season of the beloved show. Might we get an announcement of that being true? I guess we will have to wait and see.
Books
The latest Star Wars Novel, Thrawn, will have been released by the time Celebration kicks off. I expect completely for there to be a panel with Timothy Zahn, the mastermind behind the book and character.
Also should expect an announcement of a new series of books since the Aftermath series wrapped p just a few months ago.
Stand-alone Film announcement
As we sit here the Han Solo stand-alone film is in production. It is unlikely that we will get much information regarding that film, However, there is a strong chance that we will finally get information on the next Stand-alone film within the Star Wars Universe. Obi-Wan anyone?
The Last Jedi Trailer
Finally, it's no surprise that we will be getting our first look at the upcoming saga film 'The Last Jedi.' Will it be simply a short teaser, or will it be a full length is anyone's guess at this time. But, without a doubt, this will most likely be the most talked about moment of Star Wars Celebration 2017.
